As we mentioned in an earlier post, the Sperry Chalet in Glacier National Park, built in 1914, was lost to fire at the end of August. The Glacier Park Conservancy has already contracted an engineering firm to stabilize the walls from winter's wind and snow so that the structure can remain sound for future rebuilding efforts. But this take money, and the month of October is the window of time they have before heavy winter sets in. If you would like to contribute, you can learn more about the project and donate to the effort at the Glacier National Park Conservancy here. Please help if you are able! |

AuthorWe, Harley and Abby, are the parents of 4 boys whom we regularly drag into any and every national park we come near to. We love our parks and know that the only chance we have of keeping and maintaining this priceless resource is to give our children a love of them too. Archives
